Apparently Jimmy Butler and KAT can't get along. Read a headline that said "Jimmy Butler is fed up with KAT" Didn't read the article.. But anyway, KAT for Kawhi?

OMG IF the Lakers get Lillard it is OVER!!!
But I'm definitely wondering how love for CJ hasn't happened yet. BOTH teams are acting stupid it's a no brainier. Both native stars that are PERFECT for the current and future objectives in a swap.
GM are dumb.

Are you guys seriously this retarded?
THIBBS is the problem in Minnesota!
Alienating the team future starts trying to rebuild your previous team when you've already run their damn legs off is the EPITOME of an arrogant prick.
How you trade for Butler who wants to leave and play with Kyrie and now TOWNS wants out Wtf? Crawford wants out cause he went from 6th man of the year to playing 12 minutes a game!
fak thibbs yo!

Why does it feel like ridge just has the team USA roster posted on his wall and whenever the top guy snubs the lakers he just crosses his name off the list and gets excited for the next guy.
But real question if the lakers go into the season with their current roster are they better or worse then the cavs team from last season?

Butler nor Thibs are the problem in Minnesota. The problem is KAT and Wiggins and the Wolves should trade them while they still have value and cash out big time. Of course the owner won't do that, so Butler will leave, Thibs will get fired, and the Wolves will go back to not making the playoffs led by KAT and Wiggins.

I think the new roster is better, but the competition is exponentially harder than what Cleveland faced.

LEBRON, Kuzma, wagner Ingram, deng Lopez, McGee, zubac Pope, Lance, Hart Ball, rondo Yes, they will give LeBron WAY more productivity than this years Cavs gave. Rolling as is you're gambling on big leaps from the 3 kids but reports are already out of ball and kuz putting on significant bulk and Ingram a known gym rat. No reason to not expect them to achieve the next level, consistency, ESPECIALLY playing with LeBron. So now all their finishes get easier. And with LeBron, ball, Ingram and Pope you have outstanding defenders backed by legit shot blockers. As is, they can compete and will probably run the lesser teams out of the gym nightly.

Sooooo, we're gonna blame the UNIVERSALLY recognized best young big man in the game but named for team chemistry issues that didn't exist before thibbs and this 2014 bulls BULLish started? In a 2018 PLAYOFF game he has the ball in Derrick fakING Rose hands?? TF!?! HELL YES Wiggins regressed when you turn him into a 5th option spot up shooter! How is you running the post offense through Taj damn Gibson who NEVER been a scorer instead of TOWNS?? How you bring in Jimmy and anoint him to jack away with 2 #1 picks already there that ish is crazy! How in the fakING fakery is Crawford not playing?!! How deing went from promising young piece to end of the bench sweats guy?? Same for bejelica! Oh yeah, cause you're STILL running your players legs off not using the bench!!! That guy is an overrated, arrogant prick who's actually never done anything other than be a great defensive coordinator for doc. FOH with him as a head coach, much less a decision maker. So WHEN he gets fired, its gonna be cause he sucks!!!

I've heard that Rondo refuses to come off the bench. That tells me that Lonzos days are numbered. If they keep him, Rondo will destroy that locker room until he gets traded.

Minn needs to get rid of butler and thibs and maybe even Wiggins because he isn’t that good and well overpaid. Build around KAT and try to get another guy on the side of him that will help him grow as a player and not afraid to take a back seat when needed and run the show when needed.

So I’ve been thinking is the current structure of the nba salary cap hurting the league. Contracts are becoming crazy and the league is completely turning into a have vs have not league were 2 or 3 guys are getting paid and everyone else is scrambling for scraps. It also leads to a lot of guys getting bad contracts especially guys coming off their rookie deals like Wiggins and porter Ect. It also what leads to these super teams because the good players who aren’t gonna get paid 10 plus million would rather take 3 million on a potentially championship team then 6 million from a crappy team. Which leads to less parity in the league. I read yesterday Oklahoma City after luxury tax penalties is gonna pay something like 300 million which is crazy.
I’m starting to feel the league needs to go more towards an nhl type salary cap where instead their is no luxury tax and their is a hard salary ceilings and salary floor. Parity in the nhl is at an all time high the playoffs are year in and year out considered the best of the major sports because anyone can win. Their is more parity in the salary structure of a team.
Sorry if my thought are a little jumbled here trying to write this while working and had to start and stop a few times.

I get the reasoning for the NHL-style cap, but you have to remember that lux taxes and Bird-Rights exist to give the power to teams to pay their current players more, in an effort to prevent them from going somewhere else. The issue now is not that some people make more, it's that EVERYONE makes more. So instead of staying and making $150M, you can leave, have a chance at a title, and still make $100M. Sure, that's a big difference, but I believe that it was Gary Payton who said "Man, after $[x] million, it don't matter anyway!" With salaries as high as they are, these guys have a minimum price point now that they'll play for and it's often what teams can afford. Maybe Bird-Rights do need to go away and they should stick to a hard cap.

Rondo came off the bench in his last 2 stops how he got a problem? Just wants a chance to compete to start and he'll lose and everything will be fine.
Minnesota was on a incline like GS they messed up letting thibbs run the show instead of just being the coach so he could bring in the 2014 bulls and put them AHEAD of the young kids. Horrible decision maker and full of himself. That being said, IDK how the masaih hasn't poached Wiggins yet and he should to reignite excitement and but himself a couple more years as they "retool".
And the salaries are definitely out of wack. Lots of quality players just sitting waiting to accept an under market deal cause owners and gm keep overpaying the wrong guys, like thibbs LoL

And the salaries are definitely out of wack. Lots of quality players just sitting waiting to accept an under market deal cause owners and gm keep overpaying the wrong guys, like thibbs LoL Rondo played in 65 games last year in Nawlins and started 63 of them. He did come off the bench for 27 games in Chicago the year before, but he fell out with the coaching staff early.
...though [Rondo] spoke in calm, measured tones and even injected humor throughout his 11-minute session with reporters, he emphasized he has had little communication with coach Fred Hoiberg.
“I got a slight explanation from another guy on the staff. A guy told me that he was saving me from myself,” Rondo said. “I don’t want to say any names. But that’s what the explanation was. In Cleveland, they told me I had a negative 20 (plus-minus rating) in Indiana at halftime. I think that was part of the reason.”
“I thought it was bulls—,” he said. “‘Save me from myself?’ I never heard that before in my life. But I guess he was trying to do the best thing for me.”
Rondo, who signed a two-year contract with the Bulls over the summer, with only one year guaranteed, is averaging just 7.2 points a game. He has stated several times that he feels his role has been different than what he and the Bulls front office discussed when he signed over the summer.
“Depends on how you guys write it,” Rondo said. “But yeah, it’s different. When I signed here, why I wanted to come here, it’s a lot different than what I anticipated.”
