Total egomaniacal moron! Drafting Doncic means either a longer rebuild or retooling the team even more, which wouldn’t be a bad thing but at some point there needs to be some continuity. Booker needs a big man to draw attention, pick and roll with and rim run, and more spacing to be most effective. Ayton was arguably the best player available and filled IMO the biggest need for the suns. I think Kokoskov was involved in deciding to pass on Doncic. Then snag a solid pg in FA/trade and be set to start improving. Of course then they threw that plan away by blowing their FA load on Ariza. Can’t play 5 SFs at a time, the team is already built like one of shifty’s terrible fantasy squads. I like Doncic and think he’s gonna be good but ayton was the better pick for this suns team. |

You already HAD 2 big men capable to pop off picks who were both recent high lottery picks. You had 2 big men who banged and blocked shots. Ayton was NOT a need. What the team and Booker specifically needed most was someone to set them up and get them in position. That person was doncic who happened to not only be the best player in the draft but you had the first pick! I think this ayton kid is certainly talented but he's not gonna be transcendent, THAT'S doncic which he has already PROVEN against grown ass professionals!!!
Just dumb man, imo.
And before you pull the athleticism card, Jackson could've defended opposing pgs.
Just a really REALLY bad pick.
No worries though, these idiots in Atlanta did the same dumb ish. How they decided young was a better pick than doncic is MIND BLOWING! He had the second highest number of minutes on the team last year and was absolute dogish for 99% of those minutes and has shown absolutely zero growth in the two years he’s been here Chriss doesn’t understand the game at all, can’t stay in shape or healthy, and has a terrible attitude Booker wants to play the Harden role. I say let him, he’s getting paid for it. IMO they need a Patrick Beverley-style pg who can man up and cover for Bookers weak defense, play some pick and roll and spot up for threes, they need to thin out the SF logjam, ditch bender, and go out and win some faking games |

Everyone shiits on Eli, but I can't imagine any drop-back QBs being effective with that terrible offensive line. The part that's bad for Eli is that he makes no effort to get rid of the ball quickly when the defense closes the pocket. Maybe that's him. Maybe that's the lay-calling. Either way, how can they keep that line when their pass-protection is so terrible? |
