Adrian Wojnarowski: Brooklyn’s Caris LeVert (foot) will return to five on five practice soon and there’s optimism the gifted guard can return to Nets lineup prior to the All-Star Break, league sources tell ESPN. – via Twitter wojespn That's great and all but what I really want to know is can he sing like his cousin Gerald??!!

I had to Google this. What're the odds that the Nets would have a player related to the O'Jays?

Why is Phoenix suddenly showing up everywhere as a preferred potential landing place for some players? Have they not watched the Suns play? Booker and to a lesser extent, Ayton are the reason. Despite the horrible ownership, they have a young core and a good coach. They're the Lakers before Lebron. Plus Phoenix is almost as bougie as L.A. now. Denver is getting that way too and it's nauseating.

Theses dudes made their debut 20 years ago today I wish Half-Man/Half-Amazing could get a chip before he hangs up the shox. I wouldn't care if he played 2 min in one game of the finals. It's undeniable that Prime Vinsanity made the league exciting. I think he is a sure fire HOFer.

He's not allowed in my HOF. Why? I guess when looking at the numbers, you can make the case. I really put a lot of stock in All-NBA bids, though. I believe the HOF needs to be more restrictive than it is now. When I think HOF, I think "can you tell the story of the NBA without him?" Vince Carter was a great player in the regular season, but he sabotaged his teams too much to have it translate into anything else. He had one really good playoff run with Orlando. 25000+ regular season points is nice and all, but only 1500 in the playoffs over 20 seasons is pretty telling. I also subscribe to the Bill Simmons rule of determining the greatness of guys who get traded by their teams.

I'm not trying to bait you into an argument. I'm just asking because Nique's actually has less than 1500 in the playoffs and just over 26000 regular season points.

You must've missed the part where Dominique was 7x All-NBA. That means he was top 2-3 at his position at least seven times in a 15 year career. But yeah, Nique's got a weak playoff record.

It's that he only had 1500 playoff points OVER 21 SEASONS. Either this dude has the worst luck, or he's not the impact player that we make him out to be.

My problem is and has been that I'm naturally a contrarian I suppose and part time hater. When everyone was rooting for MJ, Dominique was my man. Then came Kobe so Vince was my dude. People say Tom Brady is the GOAT QB, I say I'll take Joe Montana any day. I imagine my all-time NBA team would be vastly different than most people's.

I also feel he impacted future generations with his electrifying regular season game. If you haven't watched The Carter Effect on Netflix, I highly recommend it. Of course if VC just wasn't your cup of tea you may not enjoy it.

I guess it depends on what the HOF is for. If it's based on cultural impact, then he def should be in and AI should win the Lifetime Achievement award.

I think there are def some guys that were great to watch who weren't always the top dogs. I loved Baron Davis and Gilbert Arenas' games, too. Larry Johnson, Michael Redd, Chuck Person. This is why we love this game so much.

Sooooo, Vince Carter isn't a HOF player and you had to Google Gerald Levert?
Show, have you ever actually HAD a black card? And if you have the remnants of one I'm on my way to Denver to get it...

Didn't realize washing VC's balls is a contingent for being black 2. I know who Gerald LeVert (and all of LeVert) is, but didn't know that the NBA player was related. 3. Aren't you supposed to be in a dark closet with lotion watching the Patriots parade?

He is in that Grant Hill class, where he did as much for the game off the court as on. He has never chased rings or he could definitely have had at least one. He could just have easily gone to GSW instead of signing onto the Hawks' trainwreck to mentor.
