So if kawhi and Durant go to lac or nyk and Butler goes to Mia. Who goes to Brooklyn with Kyrie? Did he overplay his hand leaving Boston? I actually like the idea of Butler in Miami. They'd have a decent amount of role players who have chips on their shoulders and if they're all bought in on D then who knows. Only thing they'd need to figure out is what to do with Whiteside's contract. If the Knicks or Bulls get nothing done in FA, they could be suitors for his expiring contract. After that, it's what to do with Waiters. I would love for LAL to miss out on everything. Especially since Ridge has only been a Laker fan for like a year I think the Bulls will split their money between a guy like George Hill and Taj. |

I actually like the idea of Butler in Miami. They'd have a decent amount of role players who have chips on their shoulders and if they're all bought in on D then who knows. Only thing they'd need to figure out is what to do with Whiteside's contract. If the Knicks or Bulls get nothing done in FA, they could be suitors for his expiring contract. They're not sexy names, but this team badly needs veterans to fill out the roster. Lavine and Lauri need to lead this team to playoff berths so that come 2021 they can attract someone. A good young piece won't sign for 2 years plus the Bulls have enough core pieces that are good but not elite. One guy I'd be okay with is Julius Randle on something like 2/35 + 3rd year team option where you can possibly have him raise his value and then trade him off for future assets a year and a half from now. |

Truth is, if the Bulls are planning for 2021 then the grand prize is Janice and I need the Bucks to have as little flexibility as possible.
