Not gonna argue numbers with you cuz I could case less about that but answer me this why would both Rubio and rose both sign with the suns? Both probable seem themselves as starters so I can’t see them willing to sign to split minutes with someone else. Also both are entering the final third of their careers spent mostly on losing teams why would they sign with rebuilding franchise like the suns that isn’t at least showing signs they are ready to make that next step and be a playoff team yet. By the time the suns will be ready to make that jump they will probably be non factors bench players. As for vuvicek (sp?) Orlando has his bird right unless he gets sign and traded to the suns he would probably just resign with Orlando for the extra money. And if he was willing to sign for less why would he pick the suns when their are a lot more attractive options. I think Rose goes to either to highest bidder or takes a slight paycut to stay somewhat close to Chicago. Realistically I think he will entertain $11m a year versus $15m. 45 was a high point for the salaries combined and I 💯% agree with you that ride will JUMP on $11 million on a multi year deal, as will Rubio. Rubio could go for less too he's looking at becoming a bench PG most likely although I still really like him as I always have. Bbish they're both flawed in ways with checkered injury history and less demand for their position as there's a flood of younger and more talented, at least long term, guys at their position and more coming every year. Suns have a history for keeping aging an players on the court and them playing a 3 guard rotation with Booker as the clear lead is ideal at this point. Orlando is paying mozgov like $18 million and with back to back top 10 picks got Isaac and Bamba to replace vucevic. They're not re-signing him. Not despite how well he's playing will he find someone to pay him 20 a year. 15 on a multi year deal he's signing ASAP. My initial scenario already included oubre cap hold. So say 11 for Rose 9 for Rubio and 15 for vucevic my scenario could in theory work. And they're vets who want to win and will help the young guys. And I'm assuming them to finish second worst and draft Barrett who can come off the bench and develop slowly the first year. So again, 'uns fans, how Y'ALL feel about this?? |
