NEPOTISM Juwan Howard Jr. is playing for the Knicks in Summer League and hopes to get an invite to join the Westchester Knicks, New York’s G League affiliate. Fizdale, of course, has a good relationship with Howard’s father from their days in Miami.I'd rather see him get a deal than Gelo, tbh.

Raptors gunning for Kahwi.
Expect a Lowry return to Texas to make the money work.

I kinda feel like the Rockets should make a run at IT2 on the cheap.
Imagine how dangerous he would be in that system off the bench.

Jabari Parker to the bulls. Not sure the terms and think the bucks can still match. I like the move for the bulls.
Bulls are setting up a young core with potential. If lavine Parker or lauri can take the next step into star player while the other two can become solid role players the bulls could soon become the next raptors of the east.

Lavine Parker defensively is awful too. At least we can call them the ACL bros then

The Nets and Kenneth Faried‘s representatives were set to talk this morning to see what the team’s plan is for Faried, per TNT’s David Aldridge. There have been no indications yet that Brooklyn plans to buy out Faried — if the team offers him a larger role than the one he had in Denver, he may be happy to stick with the Nets for 2018/19.

Before Dwight Howard agreed to a free agent contract with the Washington Wizards, he had a conversation with the team's best player, John Wall, and expressed his intention to repair his image after years of bad press about his compatibility as an NBA teammate.
Wall came away from those talks convinced Howard is indeed motivated to change. He believes Howard is going to take this opportunity in Washington more seriously than he has his previous stops where he was criticized for a lack of effort and a disengaged attitude.
"We talked and I told him this is what we want and this is what our team needs," Wall told NBC Sports Washington's Chris Miller.
"He has to buy into that and not try to say it's all about him or try to do this for himself. Just do it for the whole team and group and I think we will be fine," Wall said.

I like what the bulls have done. Go ahead and pay these guys now while you can and see what happens. Parker is a no lose situation for them economically, as is lavine. I'm guessing bulls management is hoping for the best out them but they 💰 they'll make off marketing them is what it's about.
Denver has done well too it's just a shame, you know, LEBRON lol

No thanks Of course the suns just made Devin fukkin booker one of the highest paid players in the nba so whatever

He scores a lot of points a lot of times but he gives up as many on the other end. I mean I guess I see the point of locking down a potential all star guard but he has a long way to go

Why don't the Spurs make a run at Jahlil Okafor? I think he and Aldridge would make a nice 1-2 inside presence.

Let’s play a little game. Revisionist history: 1997 draft the Celtics end up with the 1st and 3rd picks and draft Duncan and billups.
What happens to the Celtics future ? What happens to Patino? What happens to the spurs ? What happens to pop as coach?

Then, the Nuggets trade Ervin Johnson, the #5, and a protected 98 pick to Philadelphia for the #2. Nuggets then draft the mighty Keith Van Horn and trade him along with Bryant Stith and unprotected 1999 and 2000 first round picks to the Bulls for Michael Jordan. Jordan has already been threatening to retire when Phil Jackson's deal is up in 98, so Krause sees it as a rental for Denver, while he gets the ESPN College Player of the Year and two unprotected picks that are destined to be gold from a sorry, MJ-less Nuggets team. MJ falls in love with the quaint Denver and plays five more seasons, bringing the club two championships. In the summer of 2002, Scottie Pippen opts out of his final year in Portland and joins Denver to reunite with Jordan. Also, Hakeem Olajuwon, threatening retirement, is released by Toronto and signs with the Nuggets for the veteran's minimum. Meanwhile, the Nuggets are able to trade 2001 second-round draft pick and rising-star, Michael Redd to the Golden State Warriors for an unprotected 2003 lottery pick. The world is stunned on the night that the Nuggets sweep the Lakers in the 2nd round to learn that they have also won the NBA Draft Lottery. The newly-formed geriatric super-team wins the title in 2003, as Hakeem and MJ walk away from the game on top. That June, the Nuggets use their #1 pick to select the young LeBron James out of high school and he learns the game playing alongside Scottie Pippen, before Pip finally retires in the summer of 2004 and hands James the keys.
