It was 92 when he hit those 6 3's that I as a lifelong Laker fan and Jordan hater had to just say fak it, he's the man.
Kinda like how nowadays when LeBron went and won a championship in CLEVELAND, after being down 3-1 to the team that beat Jordan's bulls record no less, should've been there moment y'all was so like fak it he's the man.
I still will hear arguments for magic, bird and Kareem though.
Honestly the whole argument is silly. If you dropped mj in today's league he would NOT be there MJ we knew. He was by far the alpha athlete but now most these guys are athletic like he was. The game is played different. Guys are more skilled and better shooters which would make him not as dominant defensively. Etc

Most teams outside of GSW, HOU, and OKC have one or two guys that have to be covered. He would put the rest on skates on offense and defensively would cover their alpha. There are more guys with his skillset now but it doesn't mean he couldn't take them off the dribble. He would do what Kyrie does. His mentality wouldn't settle for less.

But idk how people can say MJ wouldn't be as dominant when Kobe, who modeled every move off of MJ's, was dominant in today's NBA.

I'm sorry but revisionist history shows Jordan played against A LOT of stiffs who not only couldn't check him but couldn't make him work on the other end. At ALL!!! You really think guys like a kawhi, George wouldn't be all over him? Or a guy like harden wouldn't be SERVING him?? He wouldn't be the guy your watching in this video. Kinda like the Kareem of the 80's would get murdered in today's league. It's not the same. Bigger, faster, stronger and more skilled. Kobe, outside of the 82 year, was not DOMINANT like Jordan was. He didn't even start on a not so good Lakers team until like his third year. Now LeBron? Dominant out the gate and still dominant like mj was. There's a huge margin between him and mortal players. It also works in reverse if you dropped LeBron into any past generations he would DESTROY them.

Guys like Kawhi only exist today BECAUSE of Jordan. He paved the way for a wing to dominate in a big-man's game.
