What you're missing is the mental aspect. Jordan would not settle for mediocrity on the court. He would find a way to win. He was as smart as he was physically gifted. #DRIVEN Kinda like LeBron playing in 8 straight finals, 9 overall with him reaching the first and last one with lottery teams?? That ain't winning and being driven?!? #HATERS GON HATE Watched the game from '90 when MJ scored 69 on the Cavs with Mark Price and a young Coach Kerr #1 BIGGEST difference was the use of the 3pt line. In today's game, there is so much space and so much respect for the 3 that defenders are glued to their man off the ball. In '90, everyone sagged off ball. Everyone was left open on the 3. Even Kerr and Price only had an extra step taken their way. Saying that to say, DeRozan is a guy today that might have the most similar game in terms of scoring spots, as MJ. I'm hard pressed to believe that MJ's numbers wouldn't actually be better today surrounded by real shooters. *Sidenote* that's why they won 6 straight...they were ahead of their time by having shooters around him, but I think we all know that.

streamable.com/atpfqThere was a League Cup final in England today and the goalkeeper went down twice consecutively injured so the coach went to sub him out in the final minute before the penalty kick shootout. The backup keeper is also known for being excellent at saving penalties, which could have been another factor. Anyways, the goalkeeper flat out refuses to leave the game and stays on the field streamable.com/atpfq

I think Bulls might keep Boylen now that they look like a functional team LOL I actually meant to come question you this weekend, you still think that Boi Lauri is just a third wheel and not a legit star? Dallas may have traded for KP and he's tall and white like dirk but Lauri is way more like the new dirk. Funking baller!!!!

No, they won 6 straight because they had the best player AND team. I'm sick of people acting like Jordan drag a bunch of bums to titles! For Christs sake he played with another bare minimum top 10 player in the league in pippen through that run. Horace Grant made an all star team as did BJ Armstrong. Craig Hodges is one of the greatest shooters EVER, as is Steve Kerr. Paxson was super solid. Cartwright was on the downside of his career but he was an elite player at the position. Dennis Rodman is a Hall of Famer. Toni Kukoc was a franchise caliber talent and all star talent. Ron Harper was a former all star and super solid player. And Tex Winter employed the best offensive strategy in the league. GTFOH acting like Jordan did some magical ish all alone or if other stars in that era had this kind of help they couldn't have won too! And stop LYING saying they won 6 straight. No, they didn't. He came back and LOST before winning 3 straight again. Get over these fairytales!!!!

Funking baller!!!! being third wheel on a championship team doesn’t mean you aren’t a star player. See Chris Bosh. At the current moment he’s probably pushing more towards 2nd option on a title winning team, same can be said about Lavine. The thing is these guys are playing completely different than before, rather than just shooting the ball well. It’s encouraging but they need to keep this up until the end of the season to prove that their bad habits don’t get the better of them. It also can’t all be Porter Jr, coaching is involved in all of this. Even though I am still not completely sold on him, Boylen deserves credit.

I don't even remember Bibby playing for the Knicks. Maybe at the tail-end of his career?
Former NBA player and Knicks guard Mike Bibby is under investigation, accused of sexual abuse by a fellow teacher at Shadow Mountain High School in Arizona, where he currently works as head basketball coach.
The school had been conducting its own internal investigation, the Arizona Republic reported, but suspended it after Phoenix police stepped in. In a restraining order obtained by the Arizona Republic, the staff member described in excruciating detail how Bibby allegedly approached her one day from his car, alcohol on his breath, and held her immobile as he rubbed up against her.

Will you guys stop it. Of course he's conserving energy. He HAS to. If he never played defense when it matters (4th quarters and Playoffs) then he wouldn't be on a finals streak the league hasn't seen since Bill Russell. His teams post miami were so dependent on him offensively to compete he conserved energy on defense not closing etc. This team, because of injuries and roster construction etc, has no rhythm and is more dependent on him offensively than it should be so he's again coasting on defense.
What we're actually seeing is how good Lonzo Ball actually is and what a difference maker he is. Especially on defense.
Let's not forget when lebron went down they were 4-5 in the conference, ended 'enver's undefeated run to start the season, and were 40 piecing and DRUBBED the defending champions in their gym on christmas day.
We need Zo back and everyone else healthy for the stretch run and we'll be fine.
I'm just miffed at the whole Carmelo situation really like this should be...good?

All star weekend in Charlotte was ho-humm..Not even in my top 5 of the ones I have attended. how would you expect prices to be for All Star Saturday? Game on Sunday? I want to go to Saturday for sure and if there’s enough money in the budget I would do the game itself too. Saturday Night was legit $500 and up in 2007 for nose bleeds. We had a hook up in Houston directly from the league at the time so we got Saturday then for $500 for 100 level side view seats. Sunday night is crazy. The only one we went to was vegas and the only reason I got 2nd level was it was a snow storm on the east coast. We were about to watch the game on tv at the palms and a chick was trying to sell her 4 tix for face value cause her peeps couldn't make it. Now 2nd level in that stadium wasn't bad because it was basically a college arena, where UNLV played but that was like $350 plus per ticket however that was like SUPER LUCKY. Now days I'm thinking at least $1000 and up, I don't even look because I ain't doing it. Only did the celebrity game this time because that's the only event I hadn't done. Getting tickets straight from the league hook up were the bomb. Last time I had that hook up was Not last new Orleans but the previous new Orleans $50 tickets for the rookie game 1st level towards the back thou. I'll be in town for Chicago next year but not sure if I'm going to any events, hey I get to stay with my peeps for free.
