I find it hard to believe a shoe was the only thing that could have been used as a mask. He wanted attention.

Are the Bulls gonna get to interview any of their preferred targets? Every mention is thanks, but no thanks.

This move was long overdue. 5+ years too late, but glad it eventually happened. A lot of work needs to be done.

Shams Charania, Sam Amick and Tony Jones of The Athletic reported Friday the Jazz have started the process of trying to fix the lingering issues between their star players with minimal success.
"It doesn't appear salvageable," a source told The Athletic.
Butthurt or justified? People are doing because of the selfishness of others so I kinda see Mitchell's beef.

Haven't they already proven that the team was exposed o the virus from the Nets (or maybe it was the Thunder)? How does Mitchell know that he got it from Rudy?

I don't think he'd mad that he thinks he gave it to him. I think he's mad at how careless he was being considering the magnitude

hope the door hit him on his way out too A few years ago sure, but I think a huge percentage of our fan base just got drained to the point of no longer caring. I would have been much much happier with this news 2-3 years ago. I frankly just don't give a ish anymore.

"Jackie, as she was affectionately known among family and friends, had been battling the virus for more than a month when she succumbed on April 13th. Jackie was many things to many people—a wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. The matriarch of the Towns family, she was an incredible source of strength; a fiery, caring, and extremely loving person, who touched everyone she met."
R.I.P. Jackie

A few years ago sure, but I think a huge percentage of our fan base just got drained to the point of no longer caring. I would have been much much happier with this news 2-3 years ago. I frankly just don't give a ish anymore. Now that you have a decision maker, what do you want him to do with the roster? The Bulls are in such purgatory I couldn't even tell you what the first step should be. It makes AK's job that much harder. What are you building blocks? Zach Lavine? Probably. Coby White? Looks to be a good 6th man in the NBA, but I guess there's value there. Wendell Carter Jr? He's a glue guy, but those guys aren't impossible to find either. Lauri Markannen? Looking less and less likely. Do you believe he can rebuild any trade value under a new coach while risking losing him for nothing, or do you sell him now for whatever you can get now and see him become a worthy building block elsewhere? And because of all that, the only player with true trade value on the team is Zach Lavine. Would I trade him? No, unless we're talking about a superstar coming back, but ideally you pair him up with that superstar. So realistically what can a Coby White, Wendell Carter Jr., and Lauri Markannen fetch you? The team is too far away to be making attempts at "win now" moves with that package and you're getting borderline value for these guys in future assets (thinking late lotto picks at best). What else is on the team? There are no expiring contracts this summer nor any cap space to work at. The team will have to decide if they match an offer for Kris Dunn who has carved himself up as an excellent wing defender off the bench, but is it really someone you pay $8-10m a year for when you're essentially in stage 1 of a rebuild? Not really, but not acquiring the most minor of assets for him is unfortunate too. Thaddeus Young and Satoransky are guaranteed for next season followed by guaranteed money of $6m and $5m if bought out. Felicio and Porter Jr. come off the books at that point as well. Realistically, I think there is nothing that can be done in year 1 other than reshape the organization from top to bottom. Maybe we get lucky in the lottery and get a high pick, but then we need to nail the pick. The Bulls badly need a core and the pieces alongside Lavine are not signing in free agency until we acquire a second or third supporting piece either via the draft or trade.
